Sepsis continues to be one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the adult population throughout the world. The session will review the epidemiology, pathophysiology and how advanced practice providers (APP) can impact the 3 and 6 hour bundle through the use of evidence base practices. It will also discuss how genotype affects sepsis identification, treatment and outcomes.
