Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of eight physicians and three advanced practice providers.
• $200 million newly built Pediatric Emergency Department

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Physician Assistant.
• 1+ year of experience in an EM setting with Peds exposure.
• Procedure experience required.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS required.

Scheduling:

• 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.
• Split time in Peds and Adult ED areas.
• Mix of Swings (Peds), Days (Adult), and Nights (Adult).
• We are entertaining candidates interested in Full-time, Part-time, and PRN commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fellow APPs and physicians in managing a thriving and very busy ED.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Opportunity to mentor NP/PA students who rotate through the ED.
• Integrated care program – Sound manages the hospitalist, critical care, and emergency medicine services.
