Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant, Wisconsin - 1 Week/Month

Inpatient first-assist assignment in Wisconsin; just 1-2 weeks per month with travel covered.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient surgical care at regional center
• Work with 1 RN, 1 APP, and 5 support staff
• Adults only; no pediatric or trauma coverage

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 6:30a-3p
• Includes shared weeknight call (1 weekday + 1 backup)
• 1:4 weekend call rotation

Cases and Procedures

• 1-3 cardiothoracic cases per day
• First-assist role with endoscopic vein harvesting
• Vascular surgery and inpatient clinic exposure preferred

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant
• CV or CT surgery experience
• BLS, ACLS required
• Open to PAs with active WI license or IMLC LOQ
