This inpatient critical care locums assignment is located in northern Michigan near Sault Ste. Marie.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Open ICU model with 6 ICU beds
• Average census: 10 patients
• Adult patient population
• On-call physician backup (available within 20 minutes)

Schedule

• 7p-7a overnight shifts
• 7-on/7-off blocks
• Dates still available in August

Cases and Procedures

• Full ICU scope including vent management, intubations, central/arterial line placement, chest tubes, lumbar puncture, and moderate sedation
• Case log of 50 ICU procedures in past 12 months required

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner with Michigan license (IMLC not accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Not open to new grads

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• Orientation stipend: $500-$1,000 depending on duration
