An excellent locum tenens opportunity for a Cardiovascular Surgery PA is now available in North Carolina. This stable, long-term assignment offers a predictable schedule, and we will cover costs for your North Carolina license.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Inpatient coverage for an adult patient population.
• Manage a caseload of 10-20 patients per shift.
• Work alongside a team of RNs, PAs/NPs, and office staff.

Schedule

• Full-time, ongoing locums assignment.
• Work a rotating schedule of 12-hour night shifts.
• Enjoy a full week off between each block of shifts.

Procedures and Cases

• No surgical or operating room duties required.
• Manage vascular surgery patients on the floor and in the ICU.
• Provide coverage for cardiothoracic surgery patients on the floor only.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Physician Assistant.
• Requires a minimum of 24 months of relevant experience.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Credentialing Requirements

• Standard credentialing is 60-90 days.
• Temporary privileges are available to facilitate a faster start.
• Full credentialing support is provided.

Travel Accommodations

• Travel and lodging provided for the assignment.
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
