Position Highlights:

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Plastic and Hand Surgery practice led by Dr. Chin. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity based primarily in Mount Kisco (MK 110) with one day per week in Carmel. The role offers a mix of clinic and OR time, with a flexible schedule and strong potential for autonomy and growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in 2 OR days/week and 3 clinic days/week
  • Conduct pre- and post-operative evaluations
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, and suture/staple removal
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, labs)
  • Educate patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and post-op care
  • Monitor for post-operative complications and coordinate follow-up care
  • See patients independently once acclimated (goal: 15 patients/day)
  • Participate in a wide range of plastic and hand surgery cases
  • No call responsibilitiesFull-time, 40 hours/week
    • OR Days: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Clinic Days: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    • Flexible options: 4.5-day or 4-day workweek depending on OR needs

Required Qualifications:

  • PA-C with NYS license and DEA registration (or eligibility)
  • NCCPA certification
    Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure surgical environments
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow in a high-volume, fast-paced practice
  • Minimum 1–2 years of surgical experience preferred but not required (plastic surgery ideal)

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $166,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
