Critical Care Physician Assistant - Louisiana, CTICU Day Shifts

Cardiac ICU locums opportunity in Louisiana with 12-hour day shifts only; no nights or call.

Highlights

• Day shifts only; 7 AM to 7 PM
• No night coverage or call
• High-acuity CTICU patients; heart/lung transplant, ECMO

Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only CTICU at major academic center
• High-volume transplant and ECMO service
• Team includes attendings, hospitalists, cardiac intensivists
• Adult patients only

Schedule

• 12-hour onsite shifts (7a-7p), no overnight responsibilities
• Open to PRN or full-time block schedules
• Average 8-10 patients per shift with 1-2 daily admits

Cases and Procedures

• Cardiac ICU: vent management, transplant, ECMO
• Must be able to place all lines and manage critical care protocols

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant with acute care experience
• Active Louisiana license
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Travel Accommodations
