Critical Care Physician Assistant - Locums in Louisiana - No Call

Cardiac ICU locums opportunity in Louisiana; day shifts only with high-acuity transplant cases.

Highlights

• 7a-7p only; no nights, no call
• Cardiac ICU with heart/lung transplant and ECMO
• PRN and full-time blocks available

Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only CTICU at a major academic center
• Adult patient population with high acuity
• Supported by attendings, hospitalists, and cardiac intensivists
• EPIC charting system

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts only (7a-7p)
• 8-10 patients per shift with 1-2 new admits
• Open to ongoing, PRN, or 7-on/7-off
• Day admit responsibility alternates between teams

Cases and Procedures

• Vent management, ECMO, transplant patients
• Must be proficient in all lines and critical care procedures

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant
• Active Louisiana license
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Full travel covered: airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage
