Job Title: Physician Assistant – Pediatric Orthopedics (OR Support)

Schedule: Full-Time | Clinic-Based with Occasional First Assist

Position Overview:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Pediatric Orthopedic team in Temple, Texas. This APP will play a key role in supporting a new pediatric orthopedic surgeon starting in September 2025, helping provide high-quality orthopedic care to children in a collaborative, multispecialty environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat an average of 18 pediatric patients per day in the clinic
• Provide first assist support in the operating room as needed (minimal)
• Collaborate with an experienced team that includes 2 pediatric surgeons, non-operative sports medicine providers, and a clinic nurse specialist
• Participate in care planning and follow-up for surgical and non-surgical patients
• Use clinical judgment and teamwork to deliver compassionate, child-friendly care

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain)
• New graduates welcome to apply; pediatric or orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to family-centered care
• Demonstrated ability to adapt, think critically, and work as part of a team
