The Edison Radiology Group, located in Edison, New Jersey, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our interventional radiology section. We currently have 4 full-time interventional radiologists and 1 physician assistant, and we are expanding our team to meet increasing demand and provide additional support in our busy, in-hospital practice at JFK University Medical Center.

The successful candidate will work closely with our interventional radiologists, assisting with a wide range of minimally invasive procedures as well as clinical responsibilities such as patient evaluations, inpatient and outpatient follow-up care, and coordination with referring providers. This role offers the opportunity to gain extensive experience in interventional radiology within a collegial and collaborative environment.

Edison Radiology Group has been a trusted provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in Central New Jersey for over 50 years. We are proud to deliver high-quality, compassionate care using the most advanced technology available. Our practice is both hospital-based and outpatient, with a wide range of services including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and interventional procedures. We currently operate breast centers, diagnostic centers, and multi-modality outpatient imaging sites, with a new center under development.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive procedures.
• Conduct patient evaluations, obtain histories, and perform physical exams.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient follow-up care, including discharge planning.
• Provide patient education and communicate with referring physicians.
• Support workflow and efficiency within a high-volume, hospital-based practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification and state licensure (or eligibility).
• Experience in interventional radiology, surgery, or a procedural specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
