Schedule & Work Hours:
- Day (7:45 AM - 4:15 PM)
- Monday through Friday
- 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
- 40 hours/week
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional adult primary care services. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and perform routine procedures including physical exams and Pap smears. This position is best suited for professionals who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and maintain a high level of precision and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams with a strong emphasis on accuracy and professional standards
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based guidelines
- Perform routine procedures including Pap smears
- Counsel patients on preventive care and general wellness strategies
- Address urgent complaints in a primary care setting with swift clinical judgment
- Review lab results and clinical documents with attention to detail
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record system
- Manage an average of 2–2.4 patients per hour efficiently
- Exhibit professionalism and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies preferred
- Active Physician Assistant License in the State of Maryland
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in primary care or adult care setting
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Certified P.A. credentials
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills
- Proficiency in handling EMR systems and clinical documentation
- Ability to manage time and multitask in high-volume environments
