Urgent Care Locums Assignment with No Call in Pennsylvania

We have an immediate need for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide supplemental coverage for an Urgent Care clinic in Pennsylvania. This short-term assignment has a flexible end date and offers the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts.

Highlights

• Short-term assignment with no long-term commitment required
• Scheduled clinical hours only, with no call responsibilities
• Clinic has a support staff of 1 RN, 3 MAs, and 1 office staff
• This is an outpatient-only role

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Urgent Care clinic
• Responsible for managing acute illnesses and injuries
• No chronic care management is required
• Expected to manage 3-4 patients per hour

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, with a weekend rotation of at least every third weekend
• No Thanksgiving or Christmas coverage is needed
• Coverage is needed on an ongoing basis from December through April

Requirements

• BLS certification is required
• Must have an active Pennsylvania license
• Experience in an Urgent Care setting is highly preferred
• Board certification is not required but board eligibility is preferred

• Travel is covered from the nearest airport
• Lodging and rental car accommodations are provided
