Position Overview

Core Clinical Partners is actively recruiting experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our growing team at Piedmont Augusta, a flagship facility within the Piedmont Healthcare system.

This position offers stability, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity environment supported by a collaborative physician and APP team.

Facility Highlights

• Annual ED Volume: ~60,000 visits
• Coverage Model: 66 hours of physician coverage + 30 hours of APP coverage daily
• Shift Times: 6a–6p, 10a–10p, 6p–6a
• EMR: Epic with Dragon voice recognition
• Hospital Type: Full-service tertiary medical center

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency medicine care to patients of all acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians in a team-based emergency department model
• Manage patient evaluations, admissions, and discharges
• Accurately document care using Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Family or Emergency Medicine certification)
• Minimum 1 year of emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to perform in high-volume settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
