A healthcare network on Long Island is currently seeking a Midwife, Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team at one of its facilities in Suffolk County.

About the opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Setting: Outpatient

Responsibiltiies:

• Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and prescribe treatments within specialty scope.
• Provide on-call and hospital coverage as required.
• Perform deliveries per midwifery protocols.
• Lead quality assurance activities, including peer reviews and audits.
• Supervise nursing staff and review clinical protocols.
• Coordinate tests, referrals, and external care.
• Establish preventive care and screening standards; assist in program development.
• Adhere to OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, legible documentation.
• Meet annual CME requirements and follow evidence-based protocols.
• Ensure safe, effective care while meeting productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree
• Certification by the American College of Nurse Midwifery to practice in NYS or Board Certified Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (PA) with licensure
