Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Hybrid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Addiction Medicine. In this role, you will provide patient-centered telehealth services, including medical withdrawal management, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), psychiatric evaluations, and primary care support. You will conduct timely virtual patient follow-ups, collaborate with clinical teams, provide accurate documentation, and participate in regular team meetings. Additional responsibilities include supporting compliance, delivering training on addiction and clinical topics, and ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.
FLOAT position:
The float role functions primarily to provide coverage for providers who are on leave from week to week. This position requires flexibility and availability on short notice based on the identified needs of the company. This includes periodic after hour and weekend scheduling.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in addiction medicine, Medication Assisted Treatments (MAT), and medical withdrawal management
- Experience in psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric medication management, and primary care
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies and remote patient care
- Exceptional documentation and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate in a team-based environment
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and treatment team members effectively
- Valid and current TX and CA state licensure REQUIRED as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, regulatory compliance, and ethical care delivery
Details:
- Competitive hourly pay, reflective of short notice availability and variable schedule, along with periodic night and weekend coverage
- Availability Mon-Sun weekly on short notice to work at minimum a total of 40 hours, based on needs of company
- Schedule may change week to week based on coverage needs
- Shifts are 8 hours
