Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Assignment: 3-month (Temp-to-Perm)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Flexibility: Hybrid option available one day per week (typically Friday)
About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive medical services in a dynamic health center environment. This role requires comfort with both in-person and telehealth visits—even when associates are located within the same building.
The NP/PA will function as an independent healthcare provider under a collaborative/supervisory agreement with physicians, delivering acute and chronic care with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.

About The Role

The NP/PA will function as an independent healthcare provider under a collaborative/supervisory agreement with physicians, delivering acute and chronic care with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical (95%)
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare services both in-office and virtually
- Conduct assessments of work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances when appropriate
- Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Provide preventive health counseling (nutrition, exercise, weight management, smoking cessation)
- Generate referrals to physicians or specialists as needed
- Document accurately and timely in the EMR system
- Safeguard patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Assist with OSHA compliance and annual mock surveys
- Ensure quality control procedures meet regulatory standards
- Support wellness initiatives including ergonomic programs, flu immunizations, and health promotion activities
- Supervise operational and clinical functions when a Physician Manager is not on-site
- National certification as NP or PA
- Current state license to practice
- NPI and DEA registration
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in family practice, internal medicine, occupational medicine, or urgent care
- Ability to function independently and provide care without onsite physician presence
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with medical staff
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and community health principles
- Proficiency with EMR systems and computer applications
