One of our Partners in Idaho is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage supporting orthopedic surgery, trauma, and fracture services. This assignment includes a mix of OR coverage, inpatient rounding, and limited evening call, with additional dates likely.

The role is hospital-based and requires an active Idaho license due to the short-term nature of the assignment.

• Orthopedic surgery, trauma, and fracture service coverage

• Mix of OR days, inpatient rounding, and limited PM call

• Very minimal call volume when scheduled

• All orientation hours billable

• EPIC EMR

• Prepaid travel and lodging

• Malpractice insurance provided

• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency

• Provide OR support for orthopedic surgical cases

• Perform inpatient rounding and post-operative patient management

• Assist with orthopedic trauma and fracture care

• Document patient encounters accurately in EPIC

• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, nursing staff, and care teams
