Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums PA in Louisiana - Near New Orleans

Full-spectrum CTS first assist role with transplant exposure and flexible block scheduling.

Highlights

• Open-ended need; blocks or full-time welcome
• 1 in 3 call rotation; includes weekends
• Vein harvesting required
• Work with 5 cardiothoracic surgeons

Practice Setting

• OR and inpatient only; no clinic
• High-acuity CTS with transplant exposure
• Epic EMR
• Experienced OR and hospital support staff

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Call every third day and weekend
• Ongoing or short-term blocks welcome

Cases and Procedures

• Full-scope cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
• Vein harvesting required
• Transplant exposure included

Requirements

• Experienced PA in CTS
• Active Louisiana license
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Local and regional candidates preferred
