Job Summary And Responsibilities

Mercy Radiology Group, a radiology group based in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to its IR service.

Highlights Include

• Candidate will join team of 9 IR doctors and 2 APP's in a group of 80+ radiologists
• IR experience is preferable, although potentially evolving position with room to grow and expand skillset
• Team-based approach with patient centered care
• Procedures to include paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, port and tunneled catheter placement/removal, gastrostomy tube changes (must be able to demonstrate completing a minimum number of 5 each within the past 2 years for credentialing)
• Rounding on patients and inputting orders
• Time spent in both hospital and clinic settings
• Possible occasional ½ day Saturday coverage

Job Requirements

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
• Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)

Pay Range

$72.11 - $72.11 /hour
