We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) team. Step into our high-acuity unit and take on a pivotal role in caring for critically ill patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic surgeries. In this fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting, you’ll perform advanced procedures and contribute to high-quality, life-saving care. Shift: Three 12.5 hour night shifts per week with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$157,000-$193,000/Annual

Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State PA license
- NCCPA certification
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- Prior experience in an ICU setting, especially cardiothoracic or surgical ICU
- Experience with mechanical support devices (Impella, IABP, VADs, ECMO)
