Position Summary

The Supervisor, Case Management is responsible to provide immediate oversight, support, and direction to assigned hospital-based care management work teams. The Supervisor acts as the primary designee in the absence of the Manager or Director, assuming additional responsibilities as delegated. This position is also responsible for serving as a liaison with clinical leadership and other stakeholders for decision-making, problem-solving, and specific projects. The Supervisor serves as a role model and change agent, supporting the Manager or Director by supervising daily operations and providing timely feedback to support and maintain quality patient care in an efficient, productive and healthy work environment. In addition, the Supervisor of Care management may carry a modified patient case load, performing all the duties of a Case manager. The Supervisor may have direct reports, including care coordination assistants. This position requires self-direction, motivation, organization, and interpretation of information relating to a wide variety of policies, procedures, and programs. Critical decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Manager or Director. This position requires extensive internal and external contacts with staff, physicians, management, and community resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN)
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience in area of specialty
• Experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead/charge capacity
• Case Manager Certification, highly desirable

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $122,845.00 and the pay scale is $122,845.00 - $174,637.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
