Position Description

Currently Hiring a Physician Assistant

Competitive compensation of $55.00 to $57.00 an hour

Location: Astoria, NY

Primary specialty is Interventional Pain.

This is a part-Time position. Monday and Friday working 8 hour days.  

Hours of operation are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Amazing Physician and supportive staff to work alongside.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of NY
  • PAC degree from an accredited facility
  • DEA prescribing privileges
  • No restrictions on licenses

 

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic pain disorders.
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and decide the best course of treatment.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
