The Utah Department of Health, Office of Primary Care and Rural Health invite you to participate in the Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) and the Utah Center for Rural Health's new Health Equity Project ECHO at no cost. This ECHO program is open to all trainees, professionals, supervisors engaged in promoting and enhancing the quality of Utah rural health and underserved populations and communities.
In 2003, Project ECHO began in New Mexico with a mission to eliminate barriers to access to specialty care and improve health outcomes for individuals traveling hundreds of miles leading to high costs. The RHAU Health Equity ECHO will focus on addressing the root causes of healthy equity including exploring the different social determinants of health to seek areas of improvement within structures, policies, and practices.
It would greatly benefit the ECHO program to receive your feedback about scheduling, topics, and accommodations to help reach as many professionals and trainees serving rural and underserved Utah.
