PAs in Obesity Medicine is excited to announce that we are now officially an AAPA caucus!

On March 8, 2023, the AAPA Board of Directors approved our status change from special interest group to official caucus status. This means that we will now have representation and voting rights at the AAPA House of Delegates beginning as early as this year's annual conference in May 2023. This is a significant step towards ensuring that PAs become trained in obesity medicine. This will allow us to help millions of patients in need and deserving of evidence-based, compassionate, comprehensive obesity care. 

PAOM wants to thank everyone who has formally joined as members of PAs in Obesity Medicine as well as those still following us and supporting our efforts.
