Call for Speakers
Submissions are now being accepted for podium presentations at the 30th Annual John M Allen Memorial Conference. Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and other specialists are encouraged to submit their proposals for the following subjects:
- Orthopaedics (Specifically Common Orthopaedic conditions in Primary Care)
- Cardiovascular
- Pulmonology (Specifically COPD)
- Gastroenterology (Specifically Nutrition)
- Rheumatology
- Otolaryngology
- Women's Health
- Men's Health
- Endocrinology
- Urology
- Neurology
- Psychiatry & Behavioral Health
- Dermatology
- Hematology
- Infectious Disease
- Pediatrics
- Emergency Medicine
- Geriatrics
- Burnout, Wellness, Mindfulness for
- Healthcare Providers
- Coding & Billing for Healthcare Providers
- Oncology
- Evidence Based Medical Practice
Proposals
Proposal submissions may be a brief abstract and must meet the following criteria:
- Update attendees on up-to-date practices
- Focus on application for general medical care
- Include a minimum of three educational objectives for the presentation
- Ex// Attendees will apply best practices in asthma care
- Presentations must be formatted for 45 minutes with 5 minutes of Question & Answer
- Preference will be given to proposals from current members of the UAPA
Honorarium
All speakers will be eligible for either a $300 honorarium or free tuition for the conference.

Proposals will be reviewed by the conference organizing committee and speakers will be informed of acceptance or denial by December 31, 2018.
