Favorite Thing About My Profession:

I've done this since returning from Vietnam where I served as a Combat Medic and served as one of the first PAs in NY. I have been involved on a state and national level as past president of NYSSPA, AASPA, APSPA, American college of clinicians, past vice president of PAFT, past Liaison from the AAPA to the American College of Surgeons, past Chairman of the Surgical Congress of the AAPA, Authored three books and wrote chapters in two others as well as three hundred plus editorials and am presently Treasurer of AFPPANP. I believe in involvement and excellence. I am the recipient of the first AAPA Paragon Award for the Physician/PA Team and the recipient of the John Kirklin Award for Excellence in Surgery. I love the challenges of Family Practice and the fulfillment of seeing a patient prosper. I encourage all FP PAs and NPs to join this organization.
